Something on my Zoa

Anyone know what this is and is it bad also if it is how do I get rid of it. Will my other corals be affected. Is my tank now contaminated for ever ?

That looks like a zoa spider to me. Not good! I am not sure where people are saying vermitid snails but the white thing on zoa looks like zoa spider

Maybe a little more descriptive info please. Is it hard or soft? Does it scrape off easily? Does it move around before/after scraping off?

Looks like a zoa spider to me too. You can try to manually remove it/them with a turkey baster and then follow up with dipping the coral to remove anything you might have missed

Can you tell if is moving? Can you take it out to get better look and picture? I know small but pic a little fuzzy to see detail. Look up pictures of zoa spiders if not done so already

It does not look like it’s moving. I’ll take it out tonight. Poke and probe it. See what happens I don’t understand tho I dipped it before putting it in my tank. For like 20 min.

What exactly are you asking about? The white thing on the polyp or the pinkish thing between the polyps?

Don’t think vermitids can grow on the flesh of coral. Correct me if I’m wrong though. Doubtful it’s a spider or nudi if it’s not moving.

It was hard like a calcium deposit of some sort kind of like a Barnacle

I’m over it, it was not moving if it don’t come back im not going to be worried about it.
