I've seen these guys once before a few nights ago and then they disappeared. Tonight my tank was crawling with these things. Anybody know what these could be? I don't have 2 of any fish so they cant be mating. I have 1 fire shrimp, not sure if they can just spawn without a mate? I caught a bunch in a little cup and observed how they swim. Kinda reminds me of tiny mosquito larvae. Nothing else I can think of:noidea: I was epoxying some coral onto my rock and knocked the whole dam* aquascape down so I don't know if this triggered them to come out or what...Oh, and I've only seen them at night. Pretty cool tho. I've heard it's a good thing when things spawn in your tank. Am I right?

Could they be pods? I can't tell by the video, but they tend to come out at night and can be in large numbers. However I have had my cleaner shrimp spawn before. Typically their young gets eaten by the coral banded shrimp or the fish quickly though.

I'm not sure if they could be pods. I've never introduced them into this tank but there's always hitchhikers. My 50 cube has a million pods and I recently transferred some corals I've to this tank from it so it's possible.

I have a guy telling me they might be "hydroids"? Anyone ever heard of these or dealt with them before. Apparently they're pests. Not good...

keep us updated to what this ends up being, im curious. I dont have a clue though, good luck either way!
