So recently I noticed these small ovals 1-2mm in diameter on my glass. They are slightly convex and if I look closely with the light behind them it kind of resembles a fried egg. With a darker smaller nucleus within the bigger oval. Today I noticed that some of the ovals look as if they have broken open and are hanging from the glass leaving an outer ring still stuck to the glass while the other part still attached like a clam shell waives in the current. Some are missing this outer part completely and are just oval rings while still others haven't opened yet. Any ideas on what I'm dealing with??
Thanks

Sounds like cerith snail eggs.

it's called the sesame seed effect. get used to it. once they start your snails won't stop. they'll eventually coat 90% of your tank walls with those eggs.

lol yes that is what it looks like...is it bad? do i need to worry about it?

Assuming they are beneficial snails, which they likely are, you shouldn't have any problem.
