I love watching my tank for the last 30 minutes of the lighting cycle... I notice that my LPS all have their tentacles/streamers out... corals such as candy canes, pectinia, acans, chalice etc..

Is there something that would benefit the tank to be added occasionally at night or just before lights out? I feed frozen and often give them a chunk or two of food.. but I was thinking more of a small particle that I could just pour into the flow??

I know this added nutrients as well, so I will monitor that.. but any suggestions on something that will be readily utilized and beneficial?
