Something weird growing/being made on Zoa

I am just noticing it today, but there is a good chance that I just wasn’t paying attention and didn’t seem it. It has a green yellow color to it. It kind of reminds me a some kind of nest that you would see aliens living in in movies. It is squishy and seems to be irritating some of the zoa.

They’re the sign of a healthy tank!
And as salty said you can scrape them off but only scrape if they’re encroaching growing space.

I miss my sump sponge, they seem to just randomly die
