Hey so I have an angel fish that is now green and I have no idea why. It’s not acting any different it’s just green now does anyone have any idea what would cause this and if it’s bad? If so what can I do to help it?

Is that a freshwater fish? If it is, I suggest posting in a freshwater forum.

Maybe an issue with salinity...sorry I couldn't resist.
I don't know anything about freshwater fish, and obviously not the focus of this forum. However, there are plenty of freshwater enthusiasts on here as well so hopefully someone may be able to help still.

Freshwater angels are known to change color at times but green isn't normal. A gold coloration could appear greenish with reflection. It could also have something to do with its diet. That said, freshwater velvet (gold dust disease) can have a green tinge at times on lighter colored fish. Do you see any tiny particles on the fishes surface? I'd check your water parameters and go from there.

Honestly, I think it's simply lightening it's color at the moment and the green is a reflection off the plants in the aquarium. It looks like a typical light gold in the latest picture. Keep an eye on it for signs of brushing /scratching (flashing) off objects in the tank. As long as your water quality checks out and the fish is behaving normally, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks so much for the help I will be keeping an eye on it and start testing the water for any abnormalities

He looks fine. I've kept freshwater angelfish for a looooong time and they can develop some pretty crazy colors. Lighting is a big factor as well how they'll look.

As others have mentioned, this is a saltwater forum. Not that you're not welcome here but you would likely find a wealth of better information regarding freshwater fish on a freshwater forum. If you like keeping angelfish then one of the cichlid forums would be ideal.
