Something weird

Does anyone else like looking in their tank at night to see the nocturnal critters? Tonight I found this on the powerhead. I have no idea what it is and if it is good or bad. Has anyone seen these?

Yeah. I occasionally use a red filter on my little flashlight to inspect the nightlife. I also brows the hitchhiker threads for all of the interesting wierd life that finds it's way into our tanks. It really fascinates me. Is that a hard shell? How big is it?

LOL, yep. That is a brown marmolated stink bug. Still a hitchhiker though as they came from China.

It was funny because I was looking at that and thinking it looked familiar, but couldn't figure it out in the context of a reef tank.
