Anyone know what is going on with my red monti cap?

It looks like it’s bleaching but I’m not too sure,
Params:
ALK: 8.1
Ca: 390
Temp: 79
Mag: 1340
Salinity: 1.024~1.0245*
Nitrate: 10
Nitrite &Ammonia: 0

* I feel like that might be what could possibly cause it, I just recalibrated my refracts meter and didn’t know this was off by that much. I’m not sure how long it’s been that low.

Turn down your lights a bit or move it to a less intense place .
what lights are you useing?

I’m using SbReeflights 18” ultra wifi. 30% white 60% blues and 80% UV. I just find it weird because it sits lower in the tank than my green birdsnest and they’re thriving

Lower white light intensity and increase blues a little. Moderate to good water flow over them and assure your readings below are not elevated:

Alk
Calcium
Magnesium
nitrate
phosphate
salinity
temperature

I don’t think the low SG would have anything to do with the white areas. It’s ok really. I suspect light intensity.

Thanks guys. This is what I bumped the lights to. I also shortened the timeline for my white lights, I originally had them running from 9am-3pm at peak. What’re your thoughts?
