Something Wrong with my Reverse Durso

Put in a reverse durso in my sump a couple weeks ago to try to quiet my system. Looked today and there were bubbles coming out of the hole in the cap thats about 10" above the water line. Best description is it looks like a skimmer. Any idea why Id be getting bubbles like that? Id did start dosing vibrant yesterday

You are mixing air and water inside a vessel and the foam is rising to the top.

The foam probably swept him away by now.

pics of the plumbing would be good, but I'm guessing aerated water is escaping where it can and it's getting foamy once it hits oxygen and is being forced out of the hole...but that's just a guess.
