I recently got an open brain coral, and I noticed that it has started to appear to be shedding near its edge. I can’t tell for sure but it looks like some of its color on the edges (the orange/pinkish color) is being removed when it appears to shed. Is this a problem for that coral? I attached pictures below, though it’s kind of hard to see. Thanks for any help.

I had trouble with mine. I kept moving around until i found a spot it liked. Gentile flow and light, and a spot where food will get blown onto it wen you feed the tank. Good luck

Peeling flesh is typical of either too much flow, or too much light for this coral.

Have had many thrive and die over the years. What i have found is medium light, low flow, and they love to be fed nice meaty chunks.

Thanks. How long could it take for itself to repair in a good spot in the tank? I just moved it to a lower flow and light area.
