I started a nano tank this week cause I couldn’t resist. Check it out.

Used extra gear laying around to get it going in my water station and garage space!

What do you think!? What light should I use?

It’s a 5gal, deep blue 12x12 former sump! -Joe

Sweet tank, either a AI prime of a 360 Kessel. I like the Kessels over small tanks with the shimmer the light produces.

Hello,

It depends on what your plan is for corals. @jsker had good recommendations, but there are others that would work well also depending on budget. If you can find one of the older current marine pro (4117 is the 72 inch version), but they make smaller ones and they are amazing lights and extremely powerful and can grow anything. Because they are discontinued they are much cheaper now. (They are three to four times the light of the marine ic pro and their other newer lights. Extremely reliable and amazing colors as well. Another light in the mix would be some of the reef brites, but again based on your budget. I would try honestly first choice would be the brand new noophysic that is out. It has amazing reviews and would work great on that tank.

I added my AI Prime HD! I decided to update my main 50 gal tank to a radion 30.

What do you think?
