So basically i randomly looked around my tank cuz y not (stop laughing, we all do, it's our addiction) and something caught my eye. It was an old frag plug that used to have a bonsai acro, which unfortunately didn't make it, so it obviously was completely dead[emoji849] yet it was glowing with a coral glow under blue lights so I looked at it with my normal lights on and it looks to be like what coralline algae wld normally look like but a red version so basically I need an ID before I go crazy trying to figure out what's causing it

it's an iPhone camera so it sux but u can just make out a bit of glowing red

Coralline algae, you can get red, deep purple, lavender and pink. Never seen it in the tank, but in there ocean it can be orange as well.

As Reefrookie pointed out, coralline comes in a _ton_ of different colors. I've also noticed that freshly killed coralline takes on a hot orange fluorescence - I ran my powerheads in hot water and vinegar last week, and the tank fairly glowed when I put them back in!
