Running 1.5” spa flex for my return line- approximately 10 feet straight up with a goal of 1000gph. Total run is 13’ straight up but the first few feet are schedule 40. Any concerns with PSI? The spa-flex is rated for 65PSI.

Honestly I’m just sitting here waiting for my tank scrutinizing every detail and this is the (probably) non-issue du jour this morning.

The majority of pumps for this hobby do not create that much pressure. FYI 65 psi would be about 150 ft head pressure

Thanks. Was having a hard time finding a calculator. I’m at that magical point where there’s nothing to do but refresh the FedEx tracking info for my tank and create stupid non-concerns.

I think your concern is the weight (mass) of this column of water rising 10-13 feet. Without doing calculations, that small rise shouldn't be of concern. You're not looking at much pressure.
