Will take a picture of mine once lights come on. It is considered a spikey chalice but is actually a pectinia.

I picked up this great frag from zoanthids.com at a reef club sale in metro Atlanta in 2014 and it has done great in my systems. Has grown about 6 more eyes. Be aware that in my system that this pectina sends out some long, clear feeding sweepers that will sting other corals.

I bought mine as a frag at last years reefapalooza here in Orlando. It was about the size of a quarter. It was only one eye now has over 10 that i can see. It has several on underside of spikes. Thought i lost it during a tank leak. Again when a lobo fell on it.

Sorry thought it was the pectinia. Do not have that mycedium but have about 6 different named ones. If it is like other mycediums it will grow very fast. Have great color and are more hardy than most other chalices.

That's not a bad price at all for a neon green mycedium. I will have to keep my eyes on that one.

world wide corals has one if anyone is still looking haha

So can someone explain the difference between the Pectina and Mycedium?

Does the Mycedium not get finger like growth and only plate out like a chalice? I’m not sure if I have a Space Invader Pectina or Mycedium.

That looks like pectinia, have to wait to see if it gets vertical growth. There's plating pectinia as well. Here's an image I found on the difference of plating pectinia and mycedium.
