Yes, it's lineage Tyree.
It really likes your tank conditions. Not only the growth shape, usually dictated by flow and par. Your piece has large mouth disk area all over. LPS can expand or contract the other flesh area to cover the inner mouth area periodically. It is generally visible when in eating mode.

Does yours always have that large yellow inner mouth area present? Mine only has it rarely. Most times yellow eyes are not as large.

Not sure what the frags go for but I sell 1" for $25 local when available.
If I frag I'll have about 10 frags at the time and they go fast.

From what i have seen. That is a great price. A couple years ago they finally started to drop in price. A frag that size went for around $50. The last year the prices seem to be rising again to around 75-100$ for same size. Granted they are encrusted. Pectina is notorious for infecting after fragging.

Locally i know of 4 places that suddenly lost their mother colonies. That may be reason for price increase. Once acclimated they grow fast. For me it took about a year to see any growth in mine.

Great coral. I will try to get a pic of mine. I love this coral but hate that I have to give it so much room. Darn stingers stretch forever!!!

For less sweepers keep your K a bit higher than normal, it worked for me.

Yes, the pic is how it typically looks. Sometimes it puffs up real fat - usually just after lights on or just before lights out. It grew from a small frag in my old 50-gallon LPS tank with fairly low flow and 4x39w T5. It does best around 150 PAR, and the 50-gallon didn't have any white bulbs - all blue. I fed it when it was small, but not anymre. It's now in my new SPS tank, and survived a mini-crash (barely). It rarely gets sweepers, but when it does - LOOK OUT!

That may be true. I keep alk between 10-11 since i have more sps. My space invader rarely puts out sweepers. When they are out, usually at night on feeding days. It will be 1-3 tentacles. But not the sweeper attack type but fat feeding type.

I assumed that meant potassium
