Spacing between palys?

I've noticed my palys have more space between each head, and my zoas are more densely spaced. Is this normal? Should my palys be denser also?

Normal, different zoas/palys have different growth characteristics

I was just looking at my Utter Chaos and there packed right against each other.

They're all different. Just like there's some that even have long stems even though they are not light starved.

This is normal. I have some lunars and some of them are packed and others are spaced, looks weird.
