Poking around the base of a large rock and this guy came up with some sand. He had long, thin tentacles. Good guy if it's a spaghetti worm, right? Tentacles were more brown than white.

Yes
They feed on detrious and considered a CUC member by many and grow to 5"

There were about 3 or 4 more right beside this one, so I left them alone. Thanks, good to know. Pictures are one thing but seeing in person it's harder for me to be certain.

Awesome CUC. Fun to watch them move things with all those tentacles.

Are the spaghetti worms in your tank building mounds in the sand? I have few in my tank and they are pulling sand particles in and starting to build little mounds. I'm wondering how big these get. Check out this video - I wonder how long it takes for something like this to form.

Yep, Pretty much. One of my main worms in located under 1/2 sand bed and under some rock. Mine isnt that big... or what I can see of it.
