Yup! Spaghetti/hair worms! Good detritivores!
Follow up:
When I was young I went snorkeling in the Florida keys and I remember finding this thing and putting it in a 5 gallon. My memory is vague but it seemed to have formed a 2-3" tube out of bits of shell and sand and out of one end came tens of electric blue tentacles that spread out over the whole tank. Would that also be a spaghetti?

Possibly a tube anemone (Ceriantharia)? Spaghetti worms tend to be reddish, yellow, or white.

Wow!! I think you might be right!

You have no idea how many google searches as well as marine biologists and divers I've asked about this. I'd given up.

Thanks so much!
