Spaghetti worms or vermetid snails or....?

Hi everybody, I’ve had this caulastrea polyp for a few weeks ago. I dipped it but it has these wispy things on the back of it. The store said it was mucus that the coral produced when I moved it but it’s been weeks and the wispy stuff is still there. Does anybody know what it is?
