This particular rank was a transfer upgrade from a 90 gal

230 gal , running since October
Mainly sps with a few lps and softies .
the growth , coralline I was expecting alk consumption long ago but after testing again last night .
finally starting to consistently drop .

started at 7.0 last night at 9:00 pm
Dosed 50ml 2 part and brought it up to 7.616dkh

it’s not 9 pm yet but just tested again and already dropping . 7.448 dkh

is it best to test every day from now to calculate daily consumption for 5 days
Or dose daily in the evening hoping to calculate how much to dose ?

I like to test at the same time everyday for about 3-5 days so I can see my Alk consumption. Then I correct Alk to where I want it slowly. I mean if it gets too low and too much of swing I would adjust before the period is over but most likely will be fine.
