Specific Gravity at 1.030

Aloha all,

I have a 300 gallon with 60 gallon sump. I need to drop my Specific gravity ASAP but don’t want to shock all my livestock. Is there a certain amount of water I should change with fresh water per day or is this something thatI should change over a course of a week??

I have had this happen before as well. don't panic, just drop the salinity slowly. Id say adjust it over the next 2 weeks.

Before you make any changes I suggest triple checking with a newly calibrated device... made that mistake before, ouch.
