Specific Lighting Question: need advice

180g Mixed reef (is the plan)
24" x 24" x 72"

I am building a canopy for a peninsula.

Thinking about doing 2 60" 2-bulb t5 retrofit kits on the outsides turned in a bit... And do 3 LED boxes in the center.

Think this would work? What t5 bulbs to use?

That's what I'm planning on doing.

Blue +
Coral+
Purple + or Actinic
Blue +

That's what looks good to my eyes. And is suppose to be great for growing coral.

Also the Aquatic Life 60" Hybrid fixture is suppose to be coming out soon. I'm either going to get that and 3 SB Reef Light 16's or go with the retrofit kits.

Yea , that.

IMO , be aware , you can easily overpower the t5 with a bb.
Also choose the BB wisely. It'll change the the color.

Fwiw, 8k 1ok 14k and 20k grow coral equally well. Choose what you like to look at.
