These are all RIP speciosa

I'm tempted to never purchase another speciosa ever again. Typical life span is about 5-6 months.

Not happy about loosing these, especially when they seem to be doing well and suddenly RTN...what gives....what's the secret sauce to keeping them alive to those who have kept them for at least over a year.

Thanks for starting this thread :) I've been wondering about that myself.
Longest I was able to keep a speciosa frag was about 2-3 weeks. Was told my tank is too dirty (high nutrients).
Following along to see what others chime in.
 
I have one going real nice for a few months now. Not near the colors yours have… those are a little out of my price range. Here’s a picture from last month of my SBB golden galaxy and pretty sure the yellow dragon next to it is a specioca as well…
