Hi all. This is my first nem and it seems quite happy and getting bigger daily! I noticed the white specks recently and worried it might be critters!?

What do you think.?

Can you zoom in? Some nems are speckled.

Just from the shape it almost looks like flatworms. Google acoel flatworms. Tell me if that's what you see.

I think it might just be particles sticking like food bits or debris.

It is everywhere though. Certain nudibranchs might go after anemones, but probably rare captive. Not sure about flatworms.

Almost looks like eggs.

On closer inspection, it does appear to be sand. He's up on a rock but I do have a tiger goby that is notorious for swimming into the water column to expel his, sifting. The BTA seems quite sticky too, lol!

Looks like very normal pigment pattern. Their tentacles are very sticky and can also grab suspended matter as well as sand but looks like normal pigment.
