They have had the UHE-100 for about 10 years. Mine is 9 years old and still as good as new.
The new unit is the UHE with a couple improvements.

Just looking at it all I can see is both DI cartridges are new and improved. I get over 1000 gallons out of a MaxCap and 3000 out of a SilicaBuster cartridge now as it is so I can't imagine how much they could improve things and that is with their standard 20 oz cartridges not even the 33% higher capacity Super versions.
It has always been 1:1 waste ratio using stored DI to flush, had an Aquatec booster pump and used the 0.2 micron ZetaZorb sediment filter.

I am due for some replacement filters so may need to drop by and check out the improvements for myself.

Got to see one of these in person today. $300 less than the uhe and more efficient with the new di filters - enduro di and mega maxcap.

I was able to talk to them at MACNA the one to one unit was really nice. If I was in the market for a new unit I would consider getting it.
