Spectrapure RO/DI Question

Currently installing my new RO/DI and not sure when to flush the system.I’m running the system for an hour now and will soon be making my own water.Also,the flush valve that’s located on top of the system is in the open position.Thanks for the help.

I just let mine run for an hour when new then started making RODI.

Do you ever close the flush valve at all?Got about 45 more minutes to go till I can put the DI cartridge

The valve I’m talking about is on the very top of the white cartridge
