Hey peeps just wondering what you're opinions are on this ato. I'm thinking of using it as an ato and kalk dosing system and I'm wondering if it would be worth the money. Any comments and insight would be great. Thanks.

I like mine. I have the unit under my stand next to the kalk reactor. Litermeter pulls water from the garage 40ft away. Easy to setup too.

Worth every penny, also won't pull a siphon, has a much better sensor than the Tunze. Added benefit is that you can pump fast distances from a remote ATO reservoir.

Can I mix kalk in my ato water? Or do I "need" a specific reactor.

Definitely, a lot of people dose kalk via their ATO.

Yeah I've been running mine for about 5 years now. It's extremely high quality with good customer support.

I have had mine running for over 5 years now and have been extremely pleased. my only complaint is the suction cup mount on the sensor tube but a small dab of silicone in the suction cup has kept it in place for several years now. I was always intending to mount it to a small Magfloat magnet but its been hanging on by itself so the magnet is still in the drawer.

I would purchase it from Spectrapure Directly. BRS is a tad expensive with that unit.

Thanks I will check it out but I'm going to purchase it from cultivated reef. I like keeping business local and I get to pick out a couple frags as a kick back and he's going to donate enough kalk powder to get me up and running for a while.

I too like to shop at my LFS. I have a couple that I always give first shot at all my purchases and surprisingly they come pretty close to online prices many times. i will pay a little more to get that service as I know when I need them in a pinch they will come through.

Yea its really nice dealing with greg. Very helpful fellow and I love browsing through his 500 plus frags in person instead of online. Plus like I said he will throw me a couple frags for free that I would normally spend at least 50 bucks on.
