Hey all,

Well I have been into the hobby for about 5 months now and have had more species of pests the bloody fish !

Is this finally a good guy or am I about to battle another bugger ?

Here to learn, why are those bad? Pardon the ignorance.
There are many different kinds of them. Some attack your fish (or your fingers...) and draw blood

If you want to learn something really nasty,
Some eat a fishs tongue and replace it living in their mouth and stealing food, don't google images of that

Some deep sea ones are the size of a small cat and kinda cute though

Yes, I recall seeing a doc about this. I have yet to see em in my tank. Then again I may not be looking in the right spots. Is there anywhere in particular they like congregating?

Well they aren't super common, not every tank has them. I think the predator kind mainly comes out at night, not entirely sure though

They’re like saltwater ticks… they’ll attach/feed on your fish. Not something I’d want in my tank :/
