It's so interesting how they choose a random place on the glass and just chill. Yesterday it was in the exact spot but there was a snail there so it was chilling on top of the snail. Do clown gobies have little suckers or something? I only saw fins.

Gobies have a cupped set of pelvic fins that in some species, can act as a "suction cup". Spider pigs lack them (grin).

p.s. - hard to see, but your fish seems to have a bit of a hollow belly. That is a problem with some clown gobies. Is it eating well?

I see, so it's not just me who thought he had a sunken belly. That's how I bought it a couple of weeks ago but it seems to be eating pretty well. I just give him a few brine shrimp in the evening ,every day.

Feed something better then brine shrimp. Adult frozen brine shrimp don’t have much for nutrition. I would probably feed a few times a day too as he needs to fatten up.

LRS nano and mysis would be a good to try.

I can do that. I have mysis and calanus. I actually gave a few mysis yesterday but they are pretty big, wasn't sure if they were too big for the goby or not

The bubble pack of hikari brand mysis are small :) No the big packs, the bubble one. Not sure why but I buy them just for that reason.

Can you pm or add a link in this thread (if allowed)? I'm in Canada so I may or may not be able to find them. So far, the frozen foods seem pretty limited from what I've seen at my lfs.

One fish two fish ships now Canada wide it’s the LFS for Dartmouth Nova Scotia they have any frozen food you could imagine. If your in the maritimes or Ontario there’s plenty of stores it’s hard to find them in the prairies and of course up north. Petsmart Canada sells frozen mysis cubes but not bubble ones.

Is it the blister pack shown here. For whatever reason the mysis are smaller than their flat packs.

You can dice up the mysids with a razor blade or sharp knife. Feed it small amounts multiple times a day. You need to watch to see if it is taking food in and then spitting it out.

Unfortunately I'm in the western part but there's a few pet stores that shell some mysis shrimp, with the most common one (that I've seen, I didn't look at all mysis products) is this one: https://www.liveaquaria.com/product/3676/?pcatid=3676

I'll do that. So far I haven't seen him spit out anything but I'll look out for it.

I use a tiny shredder and shred when frozen, then thaw, drain . It's like dust.
