Hi,
I know there was another thread somewhere addressing this but I couldnt find it, so Im sorry for asking again. But Ive been noticing these very thin spider web looking "hairs" coming off my LR's. I know its some type of algae, but dont know how to rid my tank of it. My clean up crew is very minimal right now, i only have 1 cbs in this tank (42gl), would adding snails or a different type of shrimp or crab help and if so what would you recommend?

Need full tank pics, so much can be had off full tank shot and a detail up close its critical

Hello,

All my readings are spot on. Salinity is 1.025. Using an Eheim 3 chamber and leds for this little 42gl tank. Been set up about 7 months

. I was using a skimmer up until 3 wks ago. But once I started adding filter feeders I took it out. I tried to get my camera to zero in on some but wasnt having much luck until I noticed a ring of it around the "neck" of my rose anemone which for some reason has attached itself to my back wall.

my call is that's anemone mucous no algae worries! It will simply blow off and likely come back whenever depending on conditions. Each coral produces similar slimes lol
