Hello once again!
Just a moment ago, i found a rather large amphipod in my screened filter uptake deceased.
Then, I just found this spider web looking thing. Any clues as to what this may be? Good or bad?
Thanks one and all.

Possibly vermentid snails. You notice any purple tubes anywhere on your rocks or coral frags if you have any in there?

Thank you for responding back. Im going to have to physically pick up the rock to look because although I can see the web, I'm not seeing any tubes?

Yea looks like vermentid snails strings.. did you recently add any snails or corals to the tank?..if you did check there shells.. or plugs if coral was added..

Haven't added anything yet. The tank is week 6 of cycling, numbers are ready so I definately wanted to add coral this week. I guess Ill have to look closer for those tubes that they live in. That stringy-web was definately mucously slimy
