I've had this frag for sometime now, and as usual things seem to change up in my tank. I was talking with Who Dah? last week about them, as his were different than mine. Well anyway I took some more pics today and when I looked closely at my spiderman pics I noticed that a red ring is starting to form around the mouths. So, will everyone who has some post some pics? Do yours have it too?

I'm starting to think that they are not spidermans. I'm going to check with the person i got them from today and show him the pick and see what he thinks. Maybe some Red Hornets in the making:tongue:

Ding Ding Ding!!!

I talked to him and he can't believe it either. Anyone else have this happen? Hopefully it keeps changing. It seems like all the ones I see have long skirts. I know this can be caused by high flow, as all the other zoas around these have long skirts. They are in a high flow area in my tank. Where's the pics?????

Those are such a trip. I remember talking about them with you. Based on some of your other Zoas and what they've done, I don't know what to expect! LOL!

So the person that you got them from confirmed they were spidermans too?

Here's some I got (and lost) back in April 2009. A bit light deprived I think:

And here are mine now:

That's what he is saying. I have seen a pic from other peoples(same strain) and they look as yours does. I will keep this thread updated as they change. It would be cool if they turned out to be something new and stayed that way:wink:

just like every other polyp, they continue to morph and look different based on environment that we place them in our tanks, be it water chemistry, different tank lighting schemes, flow etc.
