Sorry if this is in the wrong area, spiral corals/gorgs don't really fit anywhere =P
So for the past couple of weeks I have noticed that my blue spiral coral has been loosing bits of flesh. This would sometimes happen if too big of a piece of food landed on it, but this seems to be something different as it is in multiple spots.

In the second picture at the top and bottom you can see what healthy polyps look like. The skeleton/base of the coral is back and spikey, you can see the spikes starting to show in other places as well. I feed the coral nutramar ova every day. I am going to try not feeding it for a few days and see if that helps. I do try and remove the brown bits when I can safely. I moved it from its previous locations where it had been for months as I had to clean my powerheads and I was afraid the angle or flow may have changed and caused this.
Would love to hear any thoughts or advice on this.
