Hi

These guys grew on one of my hammers. Started with one randomly appearing one day and they have multiplied and gotten bigger.

The coral has seemed unhappy so I smashed the shells with some pliers but wondering what they are in case they come back or appear elsewhere.

Cheers

Oh should have mentioned that they are hard hollow tubes so I assume it's some sort of worm or something. Just not sure what

I had some vermitids elsewhwere in the tank but they were tiny compared to these guys. These spiral things are as big as a penny.

They've been getting bigger so I crushed the shells as best I could with pliers then covered them in superglue. Figured I'll leave it for a week or so then pull the glue off and see what's left?
