Spirobid worms?

Ive been gone for 3 days, apon coming home j find thousands of these relatively ugly critters all over my DT and sump. I belive they are Spirobid worms, but can anyone confirm? Im not a big fan. Is it worth the hassle of fighting them, or will they die off in a few weeks?

Due to a couple of picky eaters being added to the tank and upgrading to a Kessil 360NE my nutrients are out of control right now, so plesse pardon the algea

Those are spirorbid. There numbers are determined by the amount of food they have. They die out on their own and are a good part of your systems biodiversity. I'd leave them be as they won't harm a thing.

As a learning lesson- are they eating suspended food or detritus in the water, or are they a sign of a different parameter thats way too high? Etc. I do not currently run any sort of powerheads in the DT. Have a 50um filter sock in sump along with an omega 150 skimmer.

No sign of something being off, they feed on suspended particulate in the water column. I actually like seeing them, a good sign of diversity is a happy tank IMO.
