Ive been gone for 3 days, apon coming home j find thousands of these relatively ugly critters all over my DT and sump. I belive they are Spirobid worms, but can anyone confirm? Im not a big fan. Is it worth the hassle of fighting them, or will they die off in a few weeks?

Due to a couple of picky eaters being added to the tank and upgrading to a Kessil 360NE my nutrients are out of control right now, so plesse pardon the algea :)

Can you post pic please. If they are spirorbid then they are safe filter feeders.

Hahah whoops!!! I forgot to post that! Thanks for the reminder.

Okay not a problem. Thanks for the confirmation!

As a learning lesson- are they eating suspended food or detritus in the water, or are they a sign of a different parameter thats way too high? Etc. I do not currently run any sort of powerheads in the DT. Have a 50um filter sock in sump along with an omega 150 skimmer.
