Didn't know where to post this, I got cheato from a local refer, his tank is clean but I saw the cheato has some spirobid groing on the cheato. Should use it or toss it?

Thanks

Anyone before I throw it away?

Ugh id get rid of it if it were me, my sump is covered with them now and theyre making their way into my dt now, i think my possum wrasse is doing his best keeping them low number so far. I personallt would avoid them if you dont already have yet.

I would use it. They end up in tanks no matter what. I have found that they come and go like most filter feeders. I lucked out and had some Vayssierea Felis (little orange nudi) hike into my tank and eat them.

That I can tell my tank and sump dont have any, but my tank is only 2 months old. I think I am going to toss it . :( need some fast.
