Spirorbid worms

Hey Reefers. Just noticed on my glass quite a few spiral looking things. They look like the spirorbid worm from the critter id sticky.

They weren't there this morning. Only thing I've added to my tank was some tisbe pods from Algagen, last night. Could they have hitch hiked from there?

How big do they grow? Will they become a problem? Thanks.

They don’t get big at all. They aren’t a problem either, they just disturb your view sometimes.

Unless you sterilize everything that goes in your tank (and yes I'm being facetious) you are going to get stuff like this. It's inevitable. They stay tiny. They are harmless filter feeders, part of what keeps your water clean.
