I've just upgraded to a redsea 525 and as you can see from the photo when my puffer spits or his tail fin breaches the surface I get water coming up between the glass and jump net, atm I using paper towel to try and reduce the water spill, I'm sure there's people out there with the same problm, any modifications been done would help, or any suggestions (without getting rid of porky) would be appreciated

Even though I can only see the corner, that tank looks really full.

He ain't stopping. Have someone cut a thin acrylic rim a couple inches wide.

Although, that's part of a puffers charm in my opinion. I say embrace it. Encouragement. They love krill. I could make mine dance and spit forever with a couple krill.

The water is 36mm from the top my other redsea is 40mm, this was only transfered yesterday so a bit of tweeking may be needed, the tank I upgraded from had a brace all around so it stopped him when he got close to the edge, I only got a soaking if he was outside the brace.
A piece of acrylic may be the only answer, a bit of a potch to to hold it in place while the sealent goes off though,

I'd stick it on with aquarium sealant in the corners only. Shouldn't really need anything but time to keep it in place, even temporarily the sealant should do the trick
