And thats the current state of the hobby. "Frags" like that would have been thrown away a few years ago, certainly not sold as "frags". God my fingernail is bigger then those things. Best part is those will be sold for a couple hundred dollars, and some newbie will be happy to snatch those up.

It's the newbies that buy that crap and expect it to grow. It's disgusting whats called a frag these days.

Well that was the thought. Most hobbist are not willing or can't afford to put out well over 1k for a frag, so I offered smaller frags for less $ so more people can obtain this coral. There are a few retailers that started this practice, selling "crackers" in 2020 of this exact coral.

Yeah, I've been on the fence with this one trying to decide whether or not I wanted to pay the commanding price, and also, if it was just another hyped up novel acro. I have noticed in regards to pricing, that it seems that the mostly solid green frags sell for ~$500 less.
Indeed i even saw tck sell the solid green piece for dven $400 in which i missed snatching it lol

In the interest of showing off my splice again...I mean keeping this thread going. Here is an updated pic.

Thats actually impressive for just 1 month very nice. Everyone says how its a slow grower for a milli. I just bought an all green one from tck for a good deal.

@Marc2952 I got it on Feb 26 so I would say it has been a very good grower for me. It has sprouted a dozen new branches and it's color has gotten better and better despite having some issues in my tank that have caused a lot of problems to other sps.

Yea it seems like a very hardy coral, ive been having issues keeping alk stable since consumption started getting crazy after i got my PH stable at 8.4. Did you get an all green piece? I got an all green one.
