SPLIT ANEMONE DYING?

Earlier today I found my anemone splitting under a rock. After a few hours I see it coming back together . He deflates and comes back randomly . Is this a sign of my anemone dying? Should I take him out my 37 gallon tank? I have 2 dragonets and 2 fire fish in there and want them safe

How old is the tank and what are the parameters? How long have you had the anemone? Anemones can split for one of two reasons stress/imperfect water quality or regeneration.

The tank is 3 months old . I had the anemone for about 2 weeks now , does my anemone look like it’s dying to you? It’s weird it’s not splitting anymore and looks odd like it’s trying to come back together what do you think? Should I take it out my tank? I don’t want to endanger my fish

Looks like a very bleached BTA. Certainly doesn't look great and suspect the very young tank is not helping the situation.

Was it that colour when you received it? What are your parameters and lighting?

Mine split, looked "weird" for a month before it got back together and developed a mouth. I had never seen an anemone split in that fashion, and now I have seen two. Thanks for posting. Keep up on water quality, feed the fish well and hopefully it will live and thrive. Looks ok to me.
