Split or no split?

This elegance is my favorite coral in the tank but it’s getting too big. It’s about 10” long and I don’t have anywhere I can move it. I am thinking about fragging it into two pieces but am fearful I will kill it. Anyone cut an elegance in half? I have a fragging bandsaw.

Advice on how to cut?

I was curios how big an elegans should be to frag it. And how you do it.anyone with opinions or experience?
