Just curious, my anemone started hiding for a few days. Did a water change and it came out. Then it disappeared again. Today I feed reef chili and these pink with blue tip tentacles reach out of a hole on the left side of my structure, Shocked because my anemone is on the right side because i saw it when i checked up on it. So when these split is it so incognito you don't notice? And does this sound like typical behavior?

They're just as likely to split from stress due to poor water conditions as they are from reproducing. What are your parameters like? Hard to say on behavior, as long as their healthy I wouldn't fret.

I have had mine split both in the open and in hiding. Try and keep an eye out. I have seen nems deteriorate from hiding in the rocks too long and not getting enough light.
