how's it going guys, about a week ago i received a hammer coral. This is my very first coral ever. My tank is 2 months old and doing great besides having a small battle with green hair algae. Anyways it has been like 5 days since i got it and my coral has already split in two, it has 2 heads and 2 mouths. I do not supplement but i do weekly water changes which adds to the calcium and magnesium. Is this normal? Does it mean the water parameters are ideal for the coral? Can i add another coral?

Yes yes and yes. Congratulations.

If your adding more stony corals , and for your current one. Test your alkalinity and calcium to make sure you are keeping up with the demand.
