Splitting?

Hey, can anyone tell me if this new white band on my toadstool means it’s splitting? The piece looks kinda pinched where it’s white.

Hey, can anyone tell me if this new white band on my toadstool means it’s splitting? The piece looks kinda pinched where it’s white.

Toadstools i believe will pinch pieces off like this and float away to regrow.

Thank you! I moved it today so I’m not sure if it was just ticked at me or if it was splitting. I’ve had a mushroom and brittle star both split recently, and my clove polyps are spreading, so I think my tank is happy.
