Woke up this morning and noticed a ton of discolored splotches on one of my clowns this morning. I’ve had the pair for a couple months now and they’ve been perfect. No new additions to the tank besides a zoa frag. Any ideas?

Looks like Brook.

Brook can be very hard to see on white clowns. Looking at the tail and fins that is what I suspect you are dealing with.

Probably introduced with the new frag.

Would metroplex/focus help at all? I unfortunately don’t have any of the medication they suggested however I’ll pick up some today at work.

Should I wait to medicate until I get one of those later in the day or should I go ahead and treat with metro this morning

Do you have a QT setup? You could do a FW dip before transferring to QT. Your DT will need to be fallow for 6 weeks.

You’ll need to treat in a QT with metro. Feeding metro won’t do much for brook.

I do and unfortunately I panicked and just acclimated him to the QT real quick and dropped him in there. Well crap I just finished a fallow period about a month ago. I guess I didn’t go for long enough (72 days)...
now to get this other clown out
