Sponge? adorable baby coral?

i just noticed this little thing last week, and have been watching it grow. At first I thought it could be a sponge, but now I'm inclined to think it's a tiny micromusa. the colors are just like the one to the right.. I would expect that it would start with a single polyp, but this seems to be a cluster of many. as usual, wish I had a better pic. I need to get a macro lens...
