Should I kill and remove this brown sponge that is growing on rocks around some mushrooms? I have read that sponges are good for the diversity of the tank but can kill Corals.

Should I kill and remove this brown sponge that is growing on rocks around some mushrooms? I have read that sponges are good for the diversity of the tank but can kill Corals.

I had that same sponge it scrapes off pretty easy, maybe you can place it somewhere else?
