Sponge like things growing on marine pure block

Is this correct that sponge like thing growing on the marine pure block ?? Does it mean the pores got clogged ???

Do i remove them ??

I rinse them under rodi water

Pineapple sponges. They should be fine, just filter feeders.

Can I use rodi to flush the block ??? If I leave it outside out of water for few hours is it ok???

Well you could, but you'd render the block useless. Rodi water will kill whatever was living in or on that block....since those creatures live in saltwater. My personal opinion is to just leave it the way it is lol.
