Sponge or algae?

Before I pull out this piece of live rock and remove some bubble algae, I need to know if these are algae or sponges. As air will kill them if there sponges that means I will have to remove the bubble algae with the rock still in the tank. Thanks for all of the help.

The big red stuff is algae. There are some sponges I can see.
But overall don't sweat it.
