Sponge or fungus?

Hi. Can anyone advise if this is a sponge growing or fungus?

Known as poriferan sponge. Can grow crazy. If it does trim it or inject with vinegar

Unrelated question, but i keep hearing people say "poriferan sponge", why? That basically just means spongy sponge, Porifera is just all sponges. Or is it some english nickname thats going over my head?

Poriferan is stringy/lacy. Theres finger, ball , yellow and many others

Take the frag out the tank and peel of with finger nails not vinegar necessary.

You took the words right outta my mouth. If it's a "nickname" I'm unaware. Last I checked all sponges are of Porifera.
